ABSTRACT:
Human resource management is becoming increasingly complex and important in today’s dynamic environment. Employee management is critical in any organization. It is a common practice in all workplaces. Because of the rise in security breaches and transaction fraud, organizations are increasingly concerned about employee identification and personal verification technologies. Every organization, large or small, faces human resource challenges. Because every organization’s employee management needs differ, we create unique employee management systems that are tailored to your managerial requirements. This is intended to aid in strategic planning and will assist you in ensuring that your organization has the appropriate level of human resources for your future goals. Furthermore, for those busy executives who are constantly on the go, our systems include remote access features that will allow you to manage your workforce at any time and from any location. These systems will eventually enable you to better manage your resources. Employee project tracking is a key feature of an employee management system. EXISTING SYSTEM:
- Currently a manual system will provide most of the requirements for this project. People have different personalities and work ethics. So in order to manage their work efficiently and fairly, there has to be a system in place to allocate tasks to different workers.
- Although noble the manager has little it control over his business. In a manual system data is stored in a cabinet. Files are thus often misplaced or lost. And at times is difficult to find relevant files. Records for stocks are also not always filed correctly and thus information is not centralized and not easily accessible.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
- The existing system use paper or MS Excel, and maintains their records, however it is not possible them to share the data from multiple system in multi user environment, there is lot of duplicate work, and chance of mistake.
- When the records are changed they need to update each and every excel file.
- There is no option to find and print previous saved records.
- There is no security; anybody can access any report and sensitive data, also no reports to summary report.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
- In this world of growing technologies everything has been computerized. With large number of work opportunities the Human workforce has increased. Thus there is a need of a system which can handle the data of such a large number of Employees. This project simplifies the task of maintaining records because of its user friendly nature.
- The objective of this project is to provide a comprehensive approach towards the management of employee information. The objectives of this system include:
- Design of a web based HR management system to fulfill requirements such as project management, leave management, and rating system
- Well-designed database to store employee information.
- A user friendly front-end for the user to interact with the system.
ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:
- This system will reduce the complexity of employee management.
- By using this system we can easily maintain all the records.
- It will reduce searching time.
- It can be easily handled by the person who has elementary knowledge of computer because it provides a user friendly environment.
